Product Description
Radial Engineering Highline Stereo Passive Line Isolator with 1:1 Transformers, Sum Switch, and Ground Lift
The Highline is a passive line isolator designed to connect guitar and amp modelers to a mixer for live touring and recording applications, featuring a premium Jensen transformer for exceptional audio performance.
Elevate your tone
The Highline is a line isolator that is specifically designed to address the needs of instrumentalists who use amp modelers, allowing them to seamlessly connect to a PA or a recording system while maintaining their full signal integrity with no added noise or distortion.
The Highline features a premium Jensen 1:1 transformer, which retains the full volume level from the pedalboard to the PA, while also providing galvanic isolation that eliminates ground loop noise for a clean and noise-free signal. The balanced output of the Highline allows for long cable runs to the PA, and it also blocks phantom power so it never reaches the pedalboard. The Highline can also accept stereo inputs and sum them down to mono with the use of the Sum switch.
Designed for amp modelers
Guitarists and bassists who use utilize amp modelers on their pedalboard have a unique set of problems: While amp sims can produce line-level outputs, they often still use 1/4" unbalanced connectors that won't support long cable runs without degrading the tone of the instrument, and they are particularly susceptible to noise from ground loops when connected directly to the PA. The Highline addresses these issues by inserting a 1:1 transformer into the signal path, which provides isolation to reduce noise, protects against phantom power, and keeps the signal at line level for direct connection to the PA system.
Connect your amp sim to the PA
The Highline allows you to send the signal from your guitar amp sim right to the PA while retaining the signal level and sound quality. The transformer inside provides isolation to reduce noise and protects your gear from accidental phantom power activation.
Sum a stereo amp sim to mono
The Highline can also be configured to accept a stereo signal and sum both channels to the XLR output, so you don’t have to reconfigure any of your presets when channel space is limited at the PA. Just engage the sum switch and you can use the Thru jack as a second input.
Use the Thru to monitor locally
When using a mono source device with the Highline, you can take the Thru output to a stage amplifier for local monitoring, while the XLR output feeds the PA system.
